Hello penpals! Here are some pictures of my holidays

Here i am with my family in the Perito Moreno glacier, after walking over it... as you can see, we have a kind of shoes attached to our trainers so we were able to walk in the ice easier and without falling.

This glacier is a little part of the southern Patagonian ice field, the biggest mass of ice after the Antártida and Greenland. This ice field is located in both Argentina and Chile, and the biggest part is in Chile... but because of the height of the chilenian part, you can't trek on that part...

This is from my birthday... i was just woken up, and my face betrays me haha my cake was made with cookies and 'Rodhesias' (chocolate covered wafers). and i'm drinking mate... 'mate' is the name of the drink and also the name of the 'glass' or 'cup' used.. The mate if full of yerba (dry leaves of the yerba mate tree), and you pour hot water over it... and then you drink it with a tube for sipping called 'bombilla'

One day we went to a penguin rookery... Penguins live from april to august in the sea, unless they are ill or covered with oil. In september they return to the coast, the male prepare the nest and the female lays two eggs, and in november the chicks born. We went in January, so the chicks were about two or three months old, and they were changing their feathers, because the ones which they have when they born can't isolet the cold of the water... 

The penguing rookery of Punta Tombo is the biggest one in the world!

aaaand, this is me! haha what you see behind me is the Hill of the Seven Colors, in Jujuy... In the picture it can't be distinguish very well, but it's really beautiful.. it has more than only seven colours haha and it's all natural :D
